Trial lesson is very important, as the teacher and the student/students get to know each other. By speaking with the students the teacher determines their current English level, aims, listens to their preferences and wishes. On this lesson it is important to decide the program, schedule and preferred location of future lessons.
オンラインレッスンに関して
When I conduct an online lesson, I use lots of visual materials and exercises that I translate on the students' screen via software such as Skype or Zoom. Thus my online lessons are entertaining, fun and practical at the same time. I can conduct some online lessons in the nighttime (like 12-2a.m.) if student wish so.

Hi minna-san!
I'm really looking forward to teach some English to you in a fun and entertaining (but at the same time very practical) way.
I've been trained as an English teacher and awarded TESOL (Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate, so I can conduct lessons on a professional level.
Compared to native English speakers, I have one very important advantage - I have actually been a student of English, studying it nearly for all my entire life. So, while I'm a teacher now, I also know what it's like to be a student also! I know which parts of English cause most difficulties, which are interesting and which are boring, which require more attention and which less. I know students' mind very well, because I've been a student. Moreover, up to this moment I've never stopped learning new things and I'm still learning, developing myself in an never-ending learning process.
Don't believe those people who say learning English is easy. It's not easy, it's quite hard. But it doesn't mean that it can't be fun! So, my aim as a teacher, is to give you very practical lessons in an engaging and enjoyable way. So... What are we waiting for!? Let's do it! Ikimashooouuuu!!!!
P.S. To those how are interested in learning Russian - that’s my native language, so you are welcome to contact me and discuss future lessons.

プロフィール•経歴
I have lived in Russia, Moscow and worked as a civil engineer in an engineering company. At the same time I have been learning English since junior school. On my free time I loved to go out with friends, do sports, go hiking, explore the city where I lived and its surroundings, taking picture and so on. But one of my biggest passions is travelling. Since I graduated university, I have travelled to 20+ countries, mostly in Asia. From all the countries that I have visited Japan is my favorite.
In the beginning of 2017 I have decided to move to Japan to learn Japanese language and possibly work in Japan. Before moving to Japan I joined TESOL (Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages) program, so that I could use my English abilities and work as a professional English teacher.
I love Japan, it's people, culture, food, everything. Now I'm trying to get used to real Japanese lifestyle.
I'm looking forward to meet my future students and not only teach them English as good as I could, but also to become good friends with them, no matter what age.
Minna-san, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
レッスンのやり方
For each lesson I prepare a lesson plan in which I state:
1) The aims of the lesson.
2) Assumptions (such as current English level of the student, previous knowledge, students' interests and preferences, age, hobbies, their personal inquiries to the teacher and so on).
3) Problems that might occur during the lesson and how they could be solved.
4) Stages of the lesson.
To achieve the best efficiency of the lesson each lesson is divided into 5 stages:
a) Warm up - play a short game or do an activity to engage and motivate students for the lesson.
b) Presentation - Explaining new material to the students, showing examples of usage. At this stage I use visual (pictures, videos, flash cards, toys, etc.) and audio (songs, dialogues, plays) materials, to make the lesson lively and engaging.
c) Practice - at this stage I show how to put in practice the presented material, by giving sample exercises to students ("fill in the gap" activities, and many more). At this stage students with the help of the teacher start to implement newly acquired material in practice.
d) Production - At this stage students are given time to produce the language by themselves by doing activities, such as Role-play, discussion, debate, games, and so on.
e) Wrap up and Homework - at this final stage of the lesson, we summarize what we have learned at the lesson. I bring up some of the mistakes that I have heard during the Production stage and together with the students we correct these mistakes.
Then, I give homework. Homework is very important part of my lessons. After I check students' homework I give them advice and exercises to practice those parts of language learning that causes them most problems.
The curriculum mentioned above is the general way of conduction lessons in a professional manner (like all TESOL or CELTA teachers do it).
However, I'm quite flexible and always ready to listen to students' personal inquiries and wishes.
For those who want just to train their speaking abilities I can conduct speaking lessons in an easy-going and relaxed conversational manner.
