My name is Terra and I have bee a conversational English tutor for over 2 years
Im from Wisconsin USA and love;
reading, studying history and language
learning about other peoples and cultures.
I started teaching English over 2 years ago, originally as a part time job and ended up falling in love with it.
It seems rare in our world to find work doing what you love but after a few weeks of teaching I realized I had found what I love.
Why do I teach?
Apart from loving it, I have found that even when not working, Im always trying to think of new ways to improve the lessons, ways to motivate and encourage the student and ways to truly make sure they are learning and understanding.
I teach because i have found great joy in student improvement. When you can hear and tell that the student is progressing its very exciting.
Although the instruction is only a small part of the learning and its up to the student to use their free time to review, practice and repeat, the ones who genuinely take it seriously will have improvement, and its rewarding to be some part of that.

レッスンのやり方
My goal is to help the student become more fluent in conversation. Practice makes perfect is the key phrase, and the more you practice speaking the less time you have to spend thinking of the words, correcting the order in which you speak, fretting over your pronunciation. So thats my job, its to give that student the time to practice, hearing a native speaker, mimicking my sounds and conversation, hearing the difference in their own and having the opportunity to carry on a normal conversation such as they would have if they were to travel or conduct business in English so that it become more natural to them. Then time isn't spent translating in their head and worrying if they will understand the other speaker or if I understand them. Class with a conversational English tutor is really just that time for growth in what you already may have learned, so that its not pushed under the table in your native country where you may never have a chance to use or to practice it, but its active, and living, and giving room in the student to perfect it.

連絡先の交換や体験レッスン日を決めるにあたって、先生とメッセージ交換をするには本会員登録が必要です。
本会員は［4,980円／60日間］で先生に返信のメッセージが送れます。

体験レッスンを行った先生とのその後のやりとりは当サイトを通す必要はございません。
連絡先を交換し次回のレッスン日を先生と直接決めましょう。
