Ciao a tutti. Unlike many on-line teachers, duration of my lessons is 60'. In the even we go overtime ten minutes for whatever reason, you will NOT be charge any extra. I normally provide the required materials (readings, exercises, etc.) but students' suggestions are most welcome if that can contribute to keep your drive high. |

Dear Students, it is always a pleasure to an Italian and myself knowing that someone from a foreign land is interested in our language and I consider a true privilege to help you delve into the many aspects and facets of Italian, a language that sinks its root into Latin and ancient Greek, which makes Italian probably the richest language on Earth (colloquial vocabulary alone is made up of 47,000 words!). Don't be frightened however, learning a language, no matter how complex it may be, can (and has to) be fun, that's why the atmosphere during my lessons are relaxed and informal and focused on what the student is doing RIGHT, rather than what he/she is doing wrong. Making mistakes is integral part of the natural learning process and, as long as we can learn from our mistakes, they are welcome.

プロフィール•経歴
After graduating in English literature, I have worked eight years as a sportswriter/sportscaster, contributing with various periodic magazines and local radio/TV stations.
At the same time I worked as Sales Account Manager for a few major multinational companies for an aggregate 28 years. However, the call of languages made me want to go back to my first love, so I decided to become a freelance translator and a help to foreign students attending university in my home town in Italy. Earlier this year I have enrolled to an Italian Teaching Course to earn my CEDILS (Italian Teaching to Foreign Learners) certificate.
In addition to being an Italian native speaker, I am ESOL C2 Level certified in English
At the same time I worked as Sales Account Manager for a few major multinational companies for an aggregate 28 years. However, the call of languages made me want to go back to my first love, so I decided to become a freelance translator and a help to foreign students attending university in my home town in Italy. レッスンのやり方
Lessons will mainly focus on a situational method (a.k.a. pragmatic approach) depending on the learner's area of interest/need. Every situation described is meant to bring up a specific subject (grammatical, conversational, linguistic, cultural).
Special stress is put on pronounce and social interaction with the help of multimedia (including but not limited to: excerpts from Italian movies, TV shows, songs).
