I have over 19 years of English teaching experience in Japan. With 15 years in public school, 9 years teaching business English, and 7 years teaching conversational English, I consider myself extremely adaptable to most different teaching environments and situations.
Personally, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games, and reading books.
My favorite movie changes sometimes daily. My favorite movie today is Clue.
My favorite food is chicken. Anything with chicken in it is usually good to me as it can be prepared so many different ways. My favorite Japanese food is ohkonomiyaki.

レッスンのやり方
I tend to focus on a more communicative teaching style where we start by reviewing the target language together and then move on to the conversation part of the lesson where the student(s) and I have a series of conversations using the target language to cement the new materials in the student(s) minds.
My target student levels can range anywhere from beginners to advanced.
The materials I use can vary depending on the desired target language the student(s) wish to learn. I have used customized materials in the past as well as textbooks the student(s) decided on ahead of time.
The idea behind my lesson is that the student should be able to use the language learned comfortably and with confidence. I do this by focusing on using real-world examples and situations in our conversations to give the students a feel for how the language will be used outside of the lesson.
